Murray Smith, Brock University
An expert in Marxist political economy and social theory, Professor Smith is an author of many books, including Invisible Leviathan: Marx’s Law of An Value in the Twilight of Capitalism (2018), Marxist Phoenix: Studies in Historical Materialism and Marxist Socialism (2014), and Global Capitalism in Crisis: Karl Marx and the Decay of the Profit System (2010). He has also written numerous articles in academic journals such as the Canadian Journal of Sociology, Science & Society, Historical Materialism, Rethinking Marxism, and Labour/Le Travail.
